Yes. It uses satellite technology for location and is IP68‑rated, making it suitable for marine environments.
How often does it update?
Location data is recorded at the beginning and end of every journey. Optional periodic updates are available at 1‑hour, 4‑hour, or 8‑hour intervals, though increasing the frequency will reduce battery longevity.
What happens in the event of a theft?
If your craft triggers an alert, you’ll receive a phone call to confirm whether a theft has taken place. Once confirmed, you’ll be asked to report the theft to the police and obtain a crime reference number. Our support team will then liaise directly with the police to assist in recovering the vessel.
Will this affect my insurance?
We also have a number of insurance partnerships that may help reduce insurance premiums. We recommend contacting your insurer directly to find out what discounts or benefits may apply.
