The roar of the engines, the scent of leather and the exhilarating spirits of the two-wheel enthusiasts. The annual Motorcycle Live Show at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre has been and gone, leaving behind a trail of excitement at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre, with around 90,000 visitors making their way through the entrance doors across the nine days of biking action.
In the words of Finlay McAllan, Managing Director of Motorcycle Live, “The enthusiasm and passion of the motorcycle community have made Motorcycle Live a true celebration of the culture, innovation, and camaraderie that define our industry.” The nine-day biking spectacle brought manufacturers, riders, and enthusiasts together, creating an atmosphere pulsating with the shared love for motorcycles.
What is Motorcycle Live?
Known as ‘The UK’s Biggest Motorcycle Show’, Motorcycle Live has welcomed over 100,000 bike fans pass through its doors every year, transforming the Birmingham NEC into a haven for two-wheeled wonders for nine days straight.
The show originally started in 1931, and it was moved to the NEC on an annual basis in 1989. It was known for some time as the International Motorcycle and Scooter Show but was later renamed ‘Motorcycle Live’ in 2010. This extravaganza isn’t just for the die-hard bikers; it’s a celebration for anyone passionate about motorcycles.
Datatool at Motorcycle Live 2023
For Datatool, this year’s Motorcycle Live was nothing short of spectacular. Our stand featured an impressive lineup, with the spotlight on the stunning Honda RC213-V, the modified Yamaha XSR900 GP from Velocity Moto, the powerful BMW S1000R, the agile Yamaha R1M, and the iconic Honda CBR 1000RR. Not to be overlooked was the KYMCO MXU700i ATV, demonstrating how our Croc-Locks can also be fitted to ATVs and not just motorcycles.
Our representatives had a fantastic time engaging with the vibrant community, discussing all things motorcycles and security. The overwhelming support from visitors fuelled our passion, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you.
