With over £250k worth of vehicles recoveries in January – we’ve started the year on a high!
It wouldn’t be right to start our first 2026 recovery round-up without wishing you a Happy New Year!
We’ve started the new year with a bang, and our Vehicle Recovery Specialists have been hard at work to get stolen bikes back to their rightful owners – this team works around the clock, so no matter the day or time, they’re on hand to help.
Our fastest recovery was 3 minutes, a rapid recovery from our team, with peace of mind delivered to the customer within a matter of minutes.
Our featured bikes stolen in January were Yamaha – with the most popular model being Rayzr, followed by N-Max 125 and Kodiak 700’s. Next was Honda – the most popular model was the WW125, followed by Vision and TRX 420. Lastly, we’ve seen a rise in Kawasaki thefts with the model Z500 being most popular, followed with ZH2 and Mole Pro DX.
Recoveries were completed across the country in January, from Merseyside and the Scottish Borders, to Dorset and Buckinghamshire. Our Vehicle Recovery Specialist Team work with police boroughs across the country – simply provide a Crime Reference Number when reporting your stolen vehicle, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Incredibly 60% of Datatool bikes thefts happened during the daytime – highlighting thieves will strike at any time, daylight is no deterrent.
As aforementioned, we work with the police up and down the country – in January, the Metropolitan Police Borough responded to the most thefts, and we’d like to say a special thank you for all their hard work and support!
Other police boroughs that worked alongside our Vehicle Recovery Specialists are:
- West Midlands
- Kent
- Thames Valley
- Northumbria
